The nature of January

Here it is in the end of January. The snow on the ground comes free. It’s part of nature. And nature in this town is a really hated. The hate of nature in Wichita has reached an all time high.
We used to swim and fish in the ponds in this area. No longer! The town is paved over and the bonds are surrounded by homes and “No Trespassing” signs. It’s a real shame for young kids who want to experience nature as I did as a child. There are no woods to walk to ……and no ponds to explore. No fish or frogs to look for. Area wildlife is disappearing and I wonder if any kids today can experience finding a turtle or a small harmless snake?
