I
went to Twin
Peaks yesterday for dinner and to my surprise the place was not
named after that TV show. The waitresses wore skimpy outfits similar to the
Hooter girls. I was with my wife and she was not impressed with the scantly
clad waitresses. But we decided to stay for dinner anyway.
I
started off with one of the place's craft beer, a brown ale. It was good. Not
all restaurants with their own craft beers can cut it, but this did.
We
ordered food, my wife wanted a hamburger and I wanted to try their fish tacos.
I was tired of French fries, so I ordered some cooked broccoli.
To my
surprise the food was very good. It was not only cooked really well, but also
spiced to taste really good. I enjoyed all of it and so did my wife.
It is
also a sports bar with TVs everywhere. Neither my wife nor I like sports that
much nor do we like to watch it on TV. So we ignored that part of the
experience. I'm sure other guys and some gals also like to watch the sports.
I
don't think my wife wants to go back, but I might. I don't mind the scantly
clad waitresses and as long as the food and beer are good. I'm sure to have a
good time, the next time I go their.
