Each year I try to celebrate the Summer Solstice and then
write about it. There is usually a picnic or some type of event to mark this
summer holiday. Unlike Christmas or Halloween there is no mainstream or
Christian version of this holiday. It is strictly a pagan holiday.
I like to celebrate it with a bottle of mead. Honey wine is
the traditional drink of this holiday. Let’s see what this year brings.
