Over and over we see celebrities who can afford it, can and do use narcotics. This country is full of pundits and politicians who are quick to condemn anyone and everyone who uses narcotics. But it should be obvious that many people do and pushing them all into jail OR rehab may not be the right idea every time. Isn’t it about time our leaders admit that some people use these drugs to cope with the difficulties of life? Maybe as with pot, people should learn to be more tolerant. –SJ Otto

A drug dealer, who claims to have supplied Prince with powerful opiates, including Dilaudid pills and Fentanyl patches, has come forward to reveal that the “Purple Rain” legend allegedly battled a secret drug addiction for 25 plus years, according to a blockbusting report by the MailOnline.

The dealer, who is identified as Doctor D, alleges that Prince would spend up to $40,000 a time on 6-month supplies of Dilaudid pills and Fentanyl patches, which are both highly-addictive painkillers. Doctor D, who is said to have sold Prince drugs from 1984-2008, also revealed that the late singer suffered from crippling stage fright and supposedly couldn’t perform without the aid of drugs.
