It’s back to school book time

If you're going to high school, why not stock up on an academic book that can get you ahead.

Yes, you can argue that drug laws are racist, that heroin use has remained about the same since the year 1900. You can point out that drug use has been a part of our culture since the 1800s.
Why dig through a library. Just buy a book of your own. Can You Pass the Acid Test?: A History of the Drug and Sex Counterculture and Its Censorship in the 20th Century, By Steve Otto for this coming school year.
You can get it at:
At Barns and Noble: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Can-You-Pass-the-Acid-Test/Steve-Otto/e/9781424170593/?itm=12

If you're in college you might want a book that tells what life was like in the 1970s
It was a time of hope, drugs and loose sex, and political changes that went on around the country.
So try Memoirs of a Drugged-up, Sex-Crazed Yippie by Steve Otto.
It is also available by Barns and Noble:
