Ode to Junkie rock

We listened to his songs
We felt the exticy glow
We tapped the main line
The dark caped demon came without a face
The other demons wore cheap paper masks, but we were not fooled
We were not scared
Like faceless vampires they took our blood and left us sick and dying
For some time we just didn’t care as we taped the main line and
Perfactly fine we did feel
Their coffin drenched sun didn’t scare us
My uncle dug cement in the warm sunny sidewalk
My grandfather ran the smashing up the road machine
All in the cold day sun and its deadly glare
But for us the sun was hazy
And glowed with joy
And we lived while we could in the cold day light
With drops of blood all over us
