green day - american idiot HD

9/11 created songs such as this against the right-wing backlash.

9/11 anniversary in Wichita

From

, Wichita Peace and Freedom Party Examiner:

According to The Wichita Eagle, local law enforcement was on high alert for terrorist actions right here. There were plenty of events put on for the 10thanniversary of 9/11. An Andover teacher shared photos of 9/11, aftermath with his students. The Wichita Eagle printed a story from those in this area who helped with the rescue efforts in New York that day..
People I talked to all had their own take on 9/11. From Charlie King;
The twin towers, the pentagon and a downed jet in Pennsylvania. Ten Years later the bigger disaster is the lingering after effects of 8 years of (Dick) Cheneyand (George) W. (Bush). We’re running two questionable wars (one is definitely illegal) on credit wasting the surplus left by Clinton and gutting the Bill of Rights, via the Patriot Act.
From Tracy Langley;
I’ve talked to people from all over the world about 9/11 and terrorism in general over past decade and I hope the one thing that can come from of all of this is a realization that we are all humans regardless of race or nationality.
I have known some Moslems from the Middle East who are more peace loving than Christians.
And from a much younger person calling herself Bri;
As a member of the younger generation I was not around for World War I or II, Vietnam, or Korea. Nine-Eleven was the largest atrocity suffered on American soil since Pearl Harbor.
Ten years ago I couldn’t fathom the amount of hate that exists. Nor did I know so many kind hearted people who were out there willing to do anything they can to help a stranger.
As for my own ideas on 9/11, I posted them on Otto’s War Room.
